Classes for beginners and advanced adult students of all ages are held day and evening in Drawing and Painting.

Students may use oil, acrylic, watercolour or pastels.

​

They are given individual tuition in observational drawing, composition, the study of form and light, construction, perspective, tonal relationship, the mixing of colour and the art of picture making.

​

A sound foundation is provided which can lead to a personal choice of subject matter such as landscape, still-life, the human figure and portraiture.

 

Students may explore a variety of approaches with guidance, including degrees of abstraction.

​

Classes are taught by award winning artists Lee Brett, Margaret Whitehurst, Angela Iliadis, Morna McIlraith and Tetsuya (Sam) Mori.
