Monthly market has returned at The Old Pole Depot Site

When:  Every 4th Saturday of the month from February to November

Time:    8.00am to 1.00pm

St George Creative Art and Craft Centre invite you to discover one of Penshurst’s best kept secrets.

Original handicrafts made by the Centre tutors and students will be showcased and for sale as well as bargain hunting at the outdoor Trash and Treasure stalls.

The Centre's friendly tutors will be demonstrating techniques involved in pottery, mosaic, needlework, quilling and more. Come and talk to them about their speciality crafts and pick up some information on the available  Classes for children and adults conducted at the Centre.

To book a stall Ring Lisa 0401307057.  $15 per car site plus $10 insurance paid annually; if you have your own insurance, a copy of your policy is required.

Bus Trips

Our next trip is to Berry Markets on Sunday, 3rd November, 2019

Cost of $40.00 includes delicious homemade morning tea and lucky seat prizes. Enjoy the markets as well as the shops and cafes of the beautiful township of Berry. Please contact the office if you or your friends are interested. Berry is always a successful trip so don't be disappointed and get in early!

Watercolour & Wine Night  Please join us on Friday 25th October, 2019 for an exhibition of tutors and their students watercolour works. Some of our children's work will also be on display. Come along for wine and cheese, free admission. All welcome!

Exhibition, Sale & Market Day on Saturday 26th October, 2019 8.30am-1pm, free admission. Come along and see what the Centre has to offer and speak to the tutors about different classes we have, maybe sign up for a class for next year. All welcome!

Remember, you don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great!


Annual Exhibition: Our Annual Exhibition will be held on Friday November 22nd from 7pm-9pm at our Centre. Work from our tutors and students will be showcased with the majority of pieces for sale. Entry fee of $10.00 includes supper with drinks to be served. Come along and see what we do, speak to the tutors, maybe it will pique your interest to enrol for a class. You don't have to be an artistic expert, just have the passion to learn a new craft. Our children's work will also be on display so it's a great opportunity for the parents to appreciate what their children accomplish in our classes. All welcome!
