Developed in Japan by Mr. Hosaya Norikatsu in 2003, Pastel Nagomi Art is a therapeutic art form that promotes relaxation, mindfulness and emotional wellbeing. Nagomi, meaning harmony in Japanese, reflects its philosophy of creating art in a peaceful, joyful and stress-free way. Designed for all ages and skill levels, everyone is welcome.  o artistic experience is needed.

Your instructor, Victor Yu, has loved art since childhood and has trained in pencil sketching, coloured pencil and watercolour. Inspired by his wife Rossetty, he pursued certification in Japan Pastel Nagomi Art and, in 2025, earned both the Basic and Advanced Instructive Art Diplomas from the Japan Pastel Hope Art Association (JPHAA).

Victor creates a warm and supportive environment where participants are encouraged to let go of self-judgment, embrace the calming power of colour, and simply enjoy the creative process. Beyond learning new techniques, you'll leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and inspired.
